Terms of Service

Roomwise IQ is operated by Corsac Vantage LLC. By using it you agree to these terms. Last updated: draft.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 and must provide accurate information.

Recording is your responsibility

This is the most important term in this document, so it is stated plainly:

  • You must obtain any consent the law requires before recording. Federal law and most states allow recording with one party's consent; roughly a dozen states require everyone's. Rules can follow the location of any participant, not only yours. Some violations carry criminal penalties and allow private lawsuits.
  • The warnings in the app are prompts, not legal advice. When you confirm that you obtained consent, you are making a representation to us. We record that confirmation. It does not shift responsibility to Corsac Vantage LLC.
  • Respect other people's content. Presentations, workshops, and performances are usually the presenter's intellectual property, and events often prohibit recording. Roomwise IQ is licensed for your own notes. Do not use it to reproduce or distribute someone else's work.
  • Do not record what you should not hold. Do not use Roomwise IQ to capture payment card numbers, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive categories of data.

You agree to indemnify Corsac Vantage LLC against claims arising from recordings you make or upload, including claims by people who appear in them.

AI-generated content

Roomwise IQ uses AI to transcribe audio and to draft summaries, notes, messages, and suggestions. These outputs can be wrong. Transcription misreads names and words, especially in noisy rooms, and summaries can omit or distort. Review anything before you send it or rely on it. Nothing the app generates is legal, financial, medical, or professional advice, and nothing sends on your behalf without your action.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you create. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process it so the service works, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your content and do not use it to train models.

Organizations

If an organization pays for your seat, it controls that seat, not your account. Your contacts, notes, recordings, and follow-ups remain yours and are not visible to administrators. If your membership ends, your account and your content continue to exist; only the organization's own material becomes unavailable to you.

An organization that licenses Roomwise IQ agrees to remove members who leave and is responsible for accurate seat counts under its agreement.

Acceptable use

You may not use Roomwise IQ to:

  • record anyone unlawfully, or in a place where recording is prohibited;
  • harass, stalk, or build unwanted profiles of people;
  • send bulk unsolicited messages, or scrape the member directory;
  • misrepresent who you are, or claim AI-generated text is reviewed advice;
  • break the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or evade its limits.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that AI output will be accurate. To the maximum extent the law allows, Corsac Vantage LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending your use

You may stop at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend an account that violates these terms, particularly the recording provisions.
